The wait is finally over! Samsung introduced the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series at their Galaxy Unpacked event 2025. The new lineup includes the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra and all packed with exciting upgrades, fantastic AI features, and solid performance. In this blog, we will dive into a detailed review of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, covering its specs, features, and pricing.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Specifications
It’s that time of the year again—the new Galaxy S series is here. The Galaxy S25 lineup brings more power and smarter features than ever. While the hardware upgrades aren’t huge, Samsung has focused on improving the software and AI experience over the last couple of years. So, let’s take a look at our Galaxy S25 Ultra review by exploring all the cool new features.
Body and Design
When it comes to design, the Galaxy S25 Ultra now has rounded corners instead of the sharp, right-angled ones seen on older Ultra models. The edges are flat, which makes the phone easier to hold. The new design feels sleek and modern due to its slim titanium frame and integrated S Pen. The phone is also lighter than its predecessor which makes it more comfortable for watching videos, gaming, or scrolling through your social feeds. The thinner bezels enhance the viewing experience and make the screen feel more immersive.
The Samsung 25 Ultra is also IP68-rated which means it is resistant to both dust and water, so you can take it on your adventures without worry.

Display
The Galaxy 25 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch display, offering a 92.5% screen-to-body ratio. Due to thinner bezels, Samsung managed to increase the screen size by just 0.1 inches compared to the S24 Ultra. It’s still a Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, which is higher than the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s display resolution. However, by default, the phone runs at FHD+ (2340 x 1080) for better battery life, and most users won’t notice a difference in everyday use.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra AI Integration
Samsung has made AI a major part of the Samsung S 25 Ultra, although it’s not fully autonomous yet. The phone’s AI can handle simple tasks, like checking the weather or more complex actions using multimodal inputs like photos, videos, and audio. Samsung’s AI can also learn your daily habits and offer helpful tips through the "Now Brief" widget, which gets smarter the more you use the phone.

S Pen Still Included
The integrated S Pen remains a standout feature. It feels the same as the one in the S24 Ultra, but now it lacks Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support. While some remote features are gone, like controlling presentations from a distance, most users won’t miss them. The S Pen is still great for note-taking and drawing, with excellent accuracy when converting handwritten notes to text.
Camera Performance
The Galaxy S25 Ultra camera system is mostly unchanged from the S24 Ultra. It still features a 200MP main camera and two telephoto lenses offering 3x and 5x optical zoom. The selfie camera is also the same 12MP unit as before. The biggest change is the addition of a 50MP ultrawide camera, replacing the 12MP one from the previous model. This upgrade gives you better detail, but most users won’t notice a huge difference unless they’re pixel-peeping.

Performance: Fastest Ultra Chip Ever
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5g is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM. This custom chip for Samsung is incredibly fast and efficient, handling everything from games to productivity tasks with ease. In tests, the S25 Ultra outperforms the iPhone 16 Pro Max in multi-core performance which is making it one of the fastest phones on the market.

Battery
While the 5000mAh battery is good, I was expecting a bigger one, especially considering there’s room for a 6000mAh battery. That said, the S25 Ultra still performs well. It supports 45W wired charging, which can get you up to 65% charge in just 30 minutes. Wireless charging is also supported at 25W.
